What is the audience intended to think/feel from this political propaganda poster?

The audience is intended to think that a friend or relative of yours is in the war, so this will make people spend money for war supplies to make people useful in the war to withstand the attacks of Germany.

The U.S. government made this poster to get people to not spread info everywhere as there is a lot of German spies in the country that could hear the information that has been spread around  between everyone. This could ruin our plans if Hitler finds out about this.

This poster is showing that they are making fun of the German soldier and to keep the military up. This shows that people need to purchase support for the military to keep the Germans from invading the country.
